Fotoshot is not shipped with an activation code and requires installation to find the unique (hardware specific) install code on which an activation code is generated.

To get the install code for your machine, install the Fotoshot software and when you run it for the first time ou will be presented with the Product Install Code (PIC) .

Once you have the PIC you can order your unlock code. If it is the first time you have installed Fotoshot use the New Order Unlock Request.

If you need to install Fotoshot onto a different machine and you have requested an unlock code previously you will neet to request a fotoshot relicense.

Unlock Codes are typically supplied the next business day after the request.

NB: The PIC is linked to the computers primary network card MAC address, therefore if you reload your computer system after wiping the operating system clean you can still use the original activation code.

In some circumstances your PC (If you have more than one network card, eg. laptop with wireless and LAN) can seem to have become unlicensed and will request an unlock code with a PIC different to the original one you used. This can be because windows has changed the order of the Network cards in its boot process. The following Technote can help resolve this issue.
