Retransfer printers print onto a film first and then laminate it onto the card, allowing edge-to-edge printing and better image quality on uneven card surfaces. For most schools, businesses, and clubs, a direct-to-card printer is sufficient.
Can I print double-sided cards?
Yes. The ID3000 and ID4000 are available in dual-sided configurations. If you need to print both sides — for example, a photo and name on the front with a barcode or access chip on the back — select the dual-sided model when ordering.
