Yes. PPC supplies MIFARE-compatible student ID cards, including MIFARE Classic 1K and DESFire EV3. These cards can store a UID that is read by library systems such as Oliver and accessit, print management systems such as PaperCut, and access control systems such as Gallagher. The card and chip selection depends on your existing reader infrastructure.
The cost depends on print volume, whether you need software integration, and how many sites need to be connected. Entry-level systems start from a few hundred dollars for the printer alone. Yes. On-site instant issuance is one of PPC’s core offerings for education. Students can be photographed and have their card printed in under a minute using CardEze. This is the most common setup for schools and universities that need to issue cards to new enrolments quickly.
PPC has service teams in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. For RTB (return to base) warranty repairs, PPC manages the process directly. On-site service agreements are available for larger institutions. Contact your PPC account manager to discuss a service plan.
Yes. PPC supplies ribbons, blank PVC cards and MIFARE cards for all printer models we sell. Consumables can be ordered through shop.ppc.com.au or directly through your account manager.
