Australia’s first and largest Zebra card printer distributor, PPC holds a long tradition with Zebra card printers. Since the early 1990′s PPC has specialised in card printers and original represented the company “Privilege” from France with their P300 and p400 card printers.  In 1996 Privilege were sold to Eltron, an American Label printer manufacturer in 2000 and Eltron introduces the P310, P320, P420, P520 and P720 card printers.

In 2003 Zebra (another American label printer corporation) purchased Eltron, giving its widely recognised brand to the Eltron Family of Card Printers and introducing the i series of card printers, the P110i. P120i, P310i, P420i, P520i and P720i. This i series introduced RF ID ribbons for easy ribbon identification by the printer and a new colour hue for the ribbons enabling improved colour matching.

Zebra have now introduced a range of printers including the ZXP8 Retransfer printer, the new ZXP3 Direct to Card model. During this whole time PPC has provided a close liaison and relationship with Zebra in developing its range of card printers.

Described by Zebra executives, as “the University of” card printers, PPC have experience even beyond many of the current day printer manufacturers sales and support teams, and frequently provide detailed engineering advice for technical issues and improvements.
